Yayasan Sabah offers up to 30 per cent loan rebates in Budi Madani programme

Kota Kinabalu: Yayasan Sabah Education Loan borrowers are being offered rebate incentives of up to 30 per cent under the Budi Madani Rebate Programme 2026, which runs from Aug 6 to 26.

The initiative aims to reward borrowers who demonstrate commitment to repaying their loans while fostering a sustainable repayment culture to support the foundation’s education sponsorship fund.

Active payers who settle their outstanding loan balance in full will enjoy a 30 per cent rebate, while non-active payers who fully settle their balance qualify for a 25 per cent rebate, and borrowers continuing regular instalment payments will receive a 20 per cent discount.

Last year’s programme recorded the highest education loan collection in Yayasan Sabah's history at RM8 million while helping ease borrowers' financial burdens as part of the group's corporate social responsibility efforts.

To facilitate repayments, special service counters will be set up during roadshows at the Sabah International Convention Centre and Lintasan Deasoka in Kota Kinabalu, as well as the Papar and Kota Belud tamu sites throughout August.

Yayasan Sabah has also introduced the CTOS Settlement Programme, allowing defaulting borrowers listed under CTOS to clear their records by settling their outstanding loans through a negotiated sum.

Further information and assistance are available at Menara Tun Mustapha, via the official Kumpulan Yayasan Sabah Facebook page, or by contacting 011-33181088.
