Wolves are already drawing up January plans for Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
The Sun says Wolves are at the head of the queue for highly-rated Leeds star Phillips.
The midfielder stayed at Elland Road after a 30million price tag scared off Aston Villa, Burnley and a late interest from Nuno Espirito Santos' club.
The Portuguese coach was keen to find a strong midfield presence for a season that will also feature Europa League football.
But Wolves will now wait to see if Phillips' valuation drops to a level they find acceptable in January.
Leeds-born Phillips, 23, wants to be playing in the Premier League and pushing for an England call-up.
