Ever wanted to get behind the wheel of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra? Well, now you can – sort of.
Xiaomi and Polyphony Digital Inc – the developers of the widely popular Gran Turismo series racing simulator – have announced that the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric vehicle (EV) will debut in Gran Turismo 7 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The collaboration was revealed at Round One of the Gran Turismo World Series 2025.

The SU7 Ultra is Xiaomi’s top-of-the-line, high performance luxury EV and will be the first Xiaomi model to feature in the franchise. The model comes with plenty of bragging rights, including Xiaomi’s HyperEngine V8s tri-motor system. Flexing its motor-engineering prowess, the SU7 Ultra clocks a top speed exceeding 350km/h, and boasts 0 to 100km/h acceleration in just 1.98 seconds.

At the partnership announcement, Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi said he marveled at the SU7 Ultra’s competitive performance at the Nürburgring Nordschleife – a legendary circuit that also features as one of the tracks in Gran Turismo 7.
The collaboration isn’t set to end here, as Xiaomi and Gran Turismo look to develop a Xiaomi VISION GRAN TURISMO concept vehicle in the future.
