You may cry buckets listening to Anthony Loke who says he'll sacrifice everything just to see Anwar as PM but in my humble opinion, his newly minted cabinet is highly tainted.
That makes me want to weep for my beloved country.
In a media conference on Dec 3, Loke said DAP has given its undivided support to PH chairman Anwar Ibrahim to become PM unconditionally imposing no expectation in terms of representations on Anwar's cabinet.
He also said that DAP was willing to sacrifice itself if it were to pose a “stumbling block” to the formation of an Anwar-led government.
This drew the attention of netizens, one of whom is Ainur Rabiatuadawiyah, who said she almost cried listening to Loke making the above statement.
Ainur who praised Loke responded to netizens who criticised her saying, “Why are you bitter? He (Loke) said...DAP will support Anwar unconditionally, i.e. they are OK to get only four ministerial posts despite having 40 MPs..."
DAP sacificed for Anwar's success and did not demand more posts on the cabinet and they ought to be applauded by all.
Of course more tears ought to flow in empathy with DAP.
Yet the world is unimpressed as Pakatan Harapan has vowed not to cooperate with much less sit in the same cabinet and preside over a nation that voted for a corruption free government.

Indonesia is one of those nations that recently published a stinging report on "Malaysia lantik kabinet PM Anwar Ibrahim, komposisinya dikrititik pedas dan disebut penuh kleptokrat". Or in English, it says, Malaysia appoints a cabinet under PM Anwar Ibrahim that is hotly criticised for being full of Kleptokrat.
A user @middlenations on Tiktok is more critical when he says that PH promised not to work with corrupted people but "you appointed a Deputy who is facing almost 50 ongoing cases. Strange choice" Then he went to say "I know you are saying the survival of the nation takes precedence over whatever you promised but some people say that fighting corruption is the survival of the nation...."

Doesn't that make you want to weep for the country?
So cry buckets if you must about sacrifices PH made to have Anwar as PM, but don't tell me that the tears you shed can ever wash away the taints on the new cabinet.
