Several major settlement claims remain open in 2026, giving Americans another chance to recover money tied to data breaches, subscription disputes, and privacy lawsuits. Many claims can be filed online in just a few minutes.

Bank of America Customers Could Receive ATM Fee Refunds

Former Bank of America customers may qualify for compensation linked to alleged duplicate ATM fees charged at certain 7-Eleven locations. The lawsuit resulted in a $2.25 million settlement fund covering customers who paid specific out-of-network ATM charges during the period identified in the case.

Current customers are expected to receive automatic credits in many situations. Former account holders, though, must submit an online claim beforeJune 29, 2026. The final payment amount will depend on how many people file claims and how many fees each customer paid.

Mattress Buyers May Qualify for Fiberglass Compensation

Consumers who purchased certain mattresses fromAshley Furniture, Nectar, DreamCloud, or Siena may also qualify for settlement benefits. The case concerns complaints involving fiberglass escaping from mattresses into customers’ homes. The settlement includes approximately $9 million in vouchers for replacement products.

Eligible purchases must have been made between October 2017 and June 2024, depending on the mattress model involved. Claims must be submitted by July 17, 2026.

Amazon Prime Settlement Could Lead to Refunds

Amazon customers enrolled in Prime between2019 and 2025 may qualify for compensation tied to a massive $2.5 billion Federal Trade Commission settlement. The case alleges some users were misled into subscriptions or experienced difficulty canceling their memberships.

Some refunds have already been distributed automatically, though additional eligible customers may still submit online claims through July 27, 2026. Payment amounts vary depending on subscription charges and previous reimbursements already issued.

Grocery Shoppers Could Receive Cash Payments

Customers who shopped at Sprouts Farmers Market may qualify for compensation under a $5 million receipt privacy settlement. The lawsuit claims certain receipts displayed too many digits from customers’ debit or credit card numbers, potentially violating federal privacy protections under the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act.

Eligible purchases must have occurred between August 2020 and October 2022. Settlement administrators estimate payments could range from approximately $70 to more than $400, depending on the number of valid claims submitted. The filing deadline is August 5, 2026.

Google Assistant Privacy Claims Remain Open

Consumers who used devices linked to Google Assistant may also qualify for compensation through a $68 million privacy settlement. The lawsuit focuses on claims that Google devices, including Nest speakers, Pixel phones, and Home smart speakers, accidentally recorded users through unintended “false activations.

Claims remain open until August 27, 2026, while a final court hearing is currently scheduled for October.

Xfinity and Other Data Breach Settlements Continue

Several cybersecurity-related settlements also remain active in2026. Xfinity customers affected by the October 2023 Comcast data breach may qualify for reimbursement of documented financial losses or fixed cash payments under a settlement reportedly worth $117.5 million.

Eligible consumers may receive up to $10,000 for documented losses, while simpler claims may qualify for smaller flat-rate payments. The filing deadline currently stands at September 14, 2026. Separate settlements tied to the Krispy Kreme 2024 cyberattack and other technology-related lawsuits involving voice assistants and AI services are also accepting claims.

For many consumers, these settlements represent one of the few opportunities to recover money tied to data breaches, subscription practices, or alleged privacy violations. Experts say the biggest mistake people make is ignoring notices or assuming the process is too complicated when most claims can now be completed online within minutes.
