You ever heard about the Tesla bot, Optimus? Well if you’ve not, you may wanna head on over to Pavilion KL, because there’s a live-sized one there and for a limited time only!
Optimus is designed as a general-purpose robot, and is Tesla's robotic innovation to help humans perform tasks that are "unsafe, repetitive, or boring".
Equipped with the same AI technology present in Tesla vehicles, the robot is still in its development stages.
At present time, there are three of the robot. The original prototype (revealed in 2022), named Bumblebee, and then Optimus - Gen 1 as well as Optimus - Gen 2 (revealed in March and December 2023).
The model on display is the Optimus - Gen 1, but it is just a static model, so you unfortunately cannot interact with it or see it move.
