
Nine-year-old performer Lyndon Mclain Malapad has signed with EBQ Music Production and is preparing to release his debut album under PolyEast Records.
The young singer has built an early profile through a series of singing competition victories. Among his achievements are being named Singing Contest Champion at Central Food Park Bay Olongapo in 2024, Tawag ng Tanghalan Daily Winner, Idol Kids Daily Winner, V-Pop Live Grand Final first runner-up and Divine Grace School Vocal Solo Champion in 2025. He was also recognized as Kidzoona Grand Winner and Little Kidzoona Ambassador.
In addition to singing, Malapad has pursued acting projects in television and film. He portrayed young Jai-Jai in “The Master Cutter” and young Tobuts in “Kamao.” He also appeared in “What Lies Beneath” and took supporting roles in “Lolong” and “Call Me Mother.”
His television appearances include “Barangay Cinema” on TV5, “Gimme Five,” “Kada Umaga” and “Radyo Agila.”
The signing with EBQ Music Production marks Malapad’s latest step in music. He is also set to release his first album through PolyEast Records.
Among the songs expected to be included in his musical projects are the original tracks “Sa Aking Mga Magulang” and “Ako si Lyndon,” both written by Eve and Nick Quintua. The songs are also expected to be featured on the music program “Letter & Music.”
Malapad continues to balance singing, acting, dancing and modeling as he expands his presence in the entertainment industry.
