- Actor Iain Armitage has revealed he felt surprisingly positive and was the most happy when his hit sitcom Young Sheldon wrapped in 2024 after seven seasons.
- The 18-year-old star explained he did not want to dwell in heaviness or play the character into his twenties, preferring instead to travel and take on new film projects.
- While admitting to feeling nostalgic about the crew and working at Warner Bros, Armitage noted that starring in such a large production from age eight was a major undertaking.
- Co-star Lance Barber supported this perspective, stating that many cast and crew members felt ready to move on as certain elements boiled up towards the end of the final season.
- Since debuting as Sheldon Cooper, Armitage has also appeared in Big Little Lies and voiced characters in animated films including Scoob! and PAW Patrol: The Movie.
