Young woman left startled after beggar pushes her head downwards for not giving alms

JAKARTA – A TikTok video has gone viral in Indonesia where it show a beggar pushing a woman’s head downwards after she declined to give alms.

The video which was posted on Sunday (June 19) has since garnered 13.7k million views and 982.5k likes at the time of writing.

Show me the money!

In the clip, two women were seen eating together in a restaurant and having a lively conversation.

Suddenly, an older woman wearing a white hijab walked over to their table and made a gesture asking for money.

Not wanting to offend the beggar, one of the women lowered her head and clasped her hands together as a sign that she wasn’t going to give any money.

To her surprise, the beggar then forcefully pushed her head downwards with her fingers.

Filled with disbelief over what had just transpired, the woman gave the beggar a “death stare” as the latter walked away from the table.

Other patrons broke into laughter after seeing how the beggar had shoved the woman’s head.
