Deepavali (October 20) is a little less than two weeks away and these Indian restaurants in Singapore are going all out to celebrate.

Also known as Diwali, or the Festival of Lights, Deepavali is one of the biggest festivals in the Hindu calendar and celebrates the victory of good over evil, light over darkness. In Singapore, this festive season sees the island light up, literally — head to Little India to admire its latest Deepavali Street Light Up. This year, the Deepavali Festival Village returns, offering snacks, traditional clothing and decorations to celebrate the season.

No Diwali celebration is complete without a feast. Restaurants around the island have begun unveiling lavish spreads from indulgent set menus to extensive buffet selections.

Yantra, for one, is welcoming the season with vegetarian and non-vegetarian set lunches that feature dishes that honour India’s rich legacy. Similarly, Tiffin Room’s Diwali menu puts the spotlight on India’s culinary heritage and artistry, served in its signature Tiffin Box. Shahi Maharani goes all out this season with hearty buffet spreads while Rang Mahal serves up an extensive seven-course feast.

Whether you’re looking to celebrate the season with a lavish meal or an intimate one, we share some of the best restaurants to visit this Deepavali 2025.
