A wife's seemingly harmless appreciation thread on Twitter about her husband has unexpectedly summoned an army of men dragging her down.
She narrated how her husband would do most of the house chores on days where she would be unable to, and often he'd do it without being asked. The wife sounded very appreciative of her husband's willingness to compromise when it comes to doing house chores.
However, some men replied to her tweets condemning her behaviour. "It might be funny to you, but I don't think your husband finds this entertaining." a man remarked. Another man said, "Sooner or later your husband will get bored and go on Tinder. Behaviours like this are really testing a man's ego."
Others who saw the comments defended the wife by saying that wives are allowed to have lazy days, and that men who are triggered by this are plagued by their inherent perception in which the responsibilities of a wife include being treated like a servant.
