Kota Kinabalu: A total of 360 students from 30 teams took part in the Kepayan 7s rugby tournament held in Tanjung Aru recently.
The two-day tournament organised by SK Kepayan which was catered for the Under-11,14 and 16 year old players had attracted teams from Keningau, Nabawan, Kota Kinabalu, Penampang, Kudat, Kota Belud and Sandakan.
The Under-16 title was won by Sandakan Junior followed by SM Sains Sabah and Nabawan Panther. SM La Salle captured the Under-14 title ahead of SM Sains Sabah and SMK Arshad while the top three winners in the Under 11 category went to SK Sacred Heart , SK Tembovo and SK Petagas.
