Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Action Body Advocating Right (Sabar) will organise a youth leaders conference this December.

Sabar Trustee Chairman Datuk Dr Johan Arriffin Abdul Samad said, “The Sabah’s Present and Future Conference” will be held at the National Department of Culture and Arts (JKKN) Auditorium, here.

It aims to give space to the youth to exchange views and hope for a resolution to be presented to the leaders.

“This conference is open to youth, including youth leaders, heads of youth associations, NGO leaders, and we also invite political leaders to participate in the conference,” he said after leading the Sabar delegation in a courtesy visit to Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin at Istana Seri Kinabalu, here, Wednesday.

He added that the organisers also held a closed conference with the participation of 100 participants here, in November.

On the courtesy visit, he said, it aims to inform the organisation’s development, in addition to the activities carried out with the community in the rural areas since last year.
