GOMBAK, June 11 — Selangor’s youth leaders should be more vocal in presenting their views, as well as have a strong commitment to determining their future, said Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

He said they should also be aware of the complexity of current events, and the challenges when it comes to approaching various youth groups.

“It is a challenge for today’s youth leaders to ensure the connectivity between the youths of today and yesterday.

“This is why I challenge youth leaders to be courageous in voicing their views, and with the strong commitment to determine their future,” Amirudin said.

He was speaking at the Selangor-level Hari Belia Negara 2023 celebrations, at Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia earlier today.

The Menteri Besar added that today’s youth leaders should not only follow in the footsteps of others.

“One ought to understand the anxieties and crises involving today’s youths and understand their diversities.

“Now is the time for you to unite with one another, banding together to form the future of the nation’s leadership,” Amirudin said.
