Aiden Stone has completed a move to Mansfield Town after the expiry of his contract with Burnley.
The former under-23 goalkeeper played his final game for the club in the Lancashire Senior Cup final against Blackburn Rovers, a game they won.
He went to the League Two team on a trial towards the end of last season, which helped him earn a permanent contract.
Now he will spend the next few years at Mansfield as he looks to build his career.
"I'm delighted to get the deal over the line," he said after signing his new contract.
"The way the club and the staff were with me when I came in on trial, it made me feel that I really did want to sign for this club.
"Certainly after that game, that's where my heart was certainly set, and this is the place that I want to pursue my football career.
"Since coming in, I have realised how big of a club this is and how much it means to the supporters.
"The club has a good feel to it, and that persuaded me to make the step and come here."
