Tuaran: Yayasan Sabah Group, through its West Coast South Zone (ZPBS), organised a Zone Iftar Event here on Tuesday at the Dewan Sri Rugading as an initiative to strengthen ties and foster closer relationships.
The event aimed to reinforce the spirit of “ukhuwah” (brotherhood) among members of the Yayasan Sabah Group, the local community and community leaders, in line with the spirit of Ramadan, which emphasises values of togetherness, compassion, and social responsibility.
The ceremony featured a speech by Innoprise Corporation Sdn Bhd (ICSB) Executive Chairman Datuk Jasnih Daya and Pantai Dalit Assemblyman, followed by the presentation of cash contributions from the Yayasan Sabah Group to 150 asnaf recipients, as well as cash contributions to the Masjid Al-Ikhwan Chairman and financial assistance to the Taman Seri Rugading Residents’ Association (KRT).
The event was also attended by Kimanis Power Sdn Bhd CEO Rozali Khamis, members of the Sabah Foundation Group management, and local villagers.
The encouraging turnout reflected the community’s strong support for programmes aimed at strengthening relationships among various stakeholders in a spirit of goodwill and family unity.
The event provided an opportunity to strengthen social networks between the Yayasan Sabah Group and the local community. Activities of this nature not only nurture the spirit of unity and togetherness but also enhance public understanding of the social and community development initiatives implemented by the group.
