Chelsea fullback Emerson says the team's senior players need to take on more responsibility.
As they wait for a first win of the season, Emerson admits they need to protect their young teammates.
He said: "Sometimes you have to give more responsibility to the more experienced, we are a very young group and in the long run I think we will do a good job.
"We have a good team. Sometimes the criticism falls on the older ones, but (Frank) Lampard has done a good job in these two months.
"We have to believe in him and keep working."
