Ajax chief Edwin van der Sar has questioned the character inside the Manchester United locker room.
The former United goalkeeper is unsurprised by their problems.
They bought younger ones. They chose inexperienced players with a certain hunger. It is no longer the big names that they bought six or seven years ago," said Van der Sar.
In our dressing room were Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes , Rio Ferdinand, Gary Neville and even Roy Keane. We always had strong characters. Many of those players have disappeared in recent years and you don't see them anymore."
