Arsenal legend Sol Campbell has enjoyed a busy summer market as Macclesfield Town manager.
Campbell has agreed his ninth signing of a busy summer at League Two Macclesfield by landing midfielder Jay Harris from Tranmere.
Harris, 32, began his career as a trainee at Everton and has gone on to serve Accrington, Chester, Wrexham and Tranmere.
His move will be confirmed this week when he follows other new recruits Jacob Blyth, Eddie Clarke, Owen Evans, Fraser Horsfall, Joe Ironside, Jak McCourt, Emmanuel Osadebe and Theo Vassell.
