KOTA KINABALU: Deputy Prime Minister and BN Chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said Barisan Nasional will contest only in winnable constituencies in the upcoming 17th Sabah State Election, focusing on strong prospects rather than all 73 seats.

He confirmed discussions with Pakatan Harapan to avoid overlaps and openness to cooperate with a “third force” to strengthen BN’s chances.

Sabah Umno Chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin reaffirmed loyalty to Zahid’s leadership, pledging unity and preparation for the polls.

Earlier, Zahid launched the BN Volunteer Squad to aid post-flood relief across 25 constituencies.
