KUDAT: The push for the 15th General Election (GE15) by Umno President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is a desperate political manoeuvre, says Liberal Democratic Party (LDP).
Its President Datuk Chin Su Phin said it is a desperate attempt by Zahid to avoid facing the same fate of former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Rasak who is currently serving a 12-year jail sentence in Kajang Prison.
