KUALA LUMPUR: Up to Umno delegates to decide on top positions to be contested, said Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
The party’s president has assured that he has confidence in the democratic process.
“I heard differing views of Umno members regarding the party’s election, especially the key positions of President and Deputy President. Some want these two positions not to be contested. I leave it to the delegates to decide,” he said at the 2022 Umno General Assembly at the Kuala Lumpur World Trade Centre (WTCKL) today.
