KOTA KINABALU: A witness told the Coroner’s Court that Zara Qairina Mahathir was accused of stealing money a day before she was found unconscious at her school hostel.
Hostel security guard Linah Mansoding @ Jaliha said she learnt about the allegation from students at SMKA Tun Mustapha after Zara’s incident.
She recalled hearing from the dormitory students that Zara had been accused of taking money.
Linah added that a student had complained to her the day before the tragedy about losing RM300 and a bank card.
She continued her testimony on Friday as the inquest into Zara’s death resumed.
