
PETALING JAYA: The police have arrested the grandparents of murdered autistic six-year-old Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin.
Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan told FMT the couple was arrested at 2.30pm to assist in the police’s investigation into the boy’s murder.
Zayn’s parents are currently under remand, which will end tomorrow.
The decision on whether they will be charged or released is expected to be determined tomorrow.

The post-mortem revealed multiple injuries, including defensive wounds, while the cause of death was believed to be strangulation.
