Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Belarus of installing signal boosters for Russian drones near the border with Ukraine and demanded that Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko remove them within a week.
"If he does not do it, we will," Zelensky told a press conference alongside Honduran President Nasry Asfura, who was making his first visit to Ukraine on Friday.
Signal relay stations located on Belarusian territory were being used to direct attacks against the Ukrainian population, Zelensky said.
Belarus is close ally of Russia. When Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Russian forces advanced towards the Ukrainian capital Kiev from Belarusian territory.
Zelensky has long said that Russia is trying to draw Belarus into the war and has warned Minsk against becoming directly involved.
