Former Netherlands star Bolo Zenden believes Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is not yet at his best.
The Egyptian winger is enjoying a positive start to the season for the Reds, as they chase the top clubs in the Premier League.
Zenden states that while Salah has been scoring, he does not believe the attacker is firing on all cylinders.
"Salah is a different story. With him, people mainly look at the stats, goals and assists. Whether he plays well or badly, he is judged on the numbers," he said in an interview with Soccernews.nl.
"He has scored five goals so far, but that does not mean he is back to his old self.
He has scored so many goals in the past that it brings pressure. He will start to feel that.
"But Salah will also be incredibly important for Liverpool this year and be at the top of the table Europe-wide."
