PETALING JAYA: Malaysian brand ZERO Healthcare is set to expand its wellness ecosystem nationwide as it unveiled its Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) concept for ZERO Power Station, aiming to reshape travellers’ experiences through accessible wellness touchpoints across the country.
The initiative, launched and officiated by Tourism Malaysia Deputy Director-General Samuel Lee Thai Hung, positions ZERO Healthcare as a strategic partner supporting the national Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign.
Originally introduced in 2022, ZERO Power Station has expanded rapidly across the country and currently operates at more than 800 locations with over 2,000 shared massage chairs nationwide.
In conjunction with VM2026, the company now plans to increase its footprint to 5,000 wellness touchpoints by the end of 2026.
Samuel said tourism efforts surrounding VM2026 are focused not only on increasing visitor arrivals but also on enhancing the quality of the travel experience.
“During Visit Malaysia 2026, our focus is not only on attracting visitors but on enhancing the overall quality of their experience throughout their journey.
“Initiatives like ZERO Power Station reflect the kind of innovation we welcome, improving comfort and convenience for travellers while strengthening Malaysia’s position as a progressive and visitor-centric destination,” he said.
As Malaysia prepares for VM2026, tourism stakeholders are increasingly placing emphasis on delivering stronger on-ground experiences for visitors beyond traditional attractions.
ZERO Power Station introduces a shared, app-based massage experience aimed at addressing common travel challenges, particularly fatigue caused by long periods of walking, waiting and commuting.
The wellness stations are designed to be placed at high-footfall areas such as shopping malls, transportation hubs and tourist attractions, providing travellers with convenient spaces to rest and recharge.
ZERO Healthcare Founder and Managing Director, Tommy Tham said travellers today are increasingly seeking experiences that improve the overall journey rather than merely focusing on destinations.
“Today’s travellers are not just looking for destinations; they are looking for better experiences along the journey.
“With ZERO Power Station, we are introducing a simple yet impactful solution that integrates wellness into everyday travel moments. As a proudly Malaysian brand, we are honoured to support Visit Malaysia 2026 by contributing meaningful on-ground improvements to how people experience our country,” he said.
The initiative is built around the campaign theme “Recharge Along Your Journey”, integrating wellness into routine travel experiences through a mobile application.
Users can access the service by downloading the ZERO app, which offers complimentary credits for first-time users, allowing them to activate massage chair sessions within minutes.
To showcase its flexibility and scalability, the company also introduced four ZERO Power Station concepts designed for deployment across different environments within Malaysia’s tourism landscape.
As part of the campaign, the official Visit Malaysia 2026 mascots, Wira and Manja, alongside ZERO Healthcare’s mascot Captain Roro Paws, will also be featured at selected locations to create interactive touchpoints for visitors.
ZERO Healthcare said it plans to continue expanding across Malaysia and the wider region as part of its broader ambition of building a “zero-stress, zero-illness” society while supporting Malaysia’s tourism growth agenda.
