
Kota Kinabalu: The 1,053 hawkers at the Central Market, here, have been warned to be more serious about cleanliness and help City Hall meet its “zero rats” target.
A spokeswoman for the agency’s Environmental Health Department said they have to look after the space they occupied more diligently so there is no infestation with rats.
“Their stalls should be kept in good order at all times. Any rubbish must be properly disposed daily into ample dustbins at their stalls.
