Red Bull Salzburg's star striker Erling Braut Haaland is struggling to be fit for Wednesday's visit to Liverpool in the Champions League.
The 19-year-old frontman has plundered 17 goals in 12 appearance for the Austrian side this term, including a hat-trick in their Group E opener with Genk earlier this month.
However, the Norwegian forward is now a doubt for the game with illness, with the club's sporting director detailing the importance of the next 48 hours.
Sppeaking to Viasat, Salzburg sporting director Christoph Freund: "The next two days are important. He is checked by a doctor every day.
"He's sick, and we don't quite know when he will be back. Hopefully over the next few days."
