Minister Zulkifli Hasan held a dialogue with Malaysian students in Saudi Arabia, discussing religious matters and haj preparations during his official visit

MADINAH: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Dr Zulkifli Hasan held a dialogue session with members of the Saudi Arabia Malaysian Students Association (PERSADA) before concluding his official visit.

The session provided an opportunity to exchange views and discuss religious matters directly with the students.

Zulkifli expressed his pleasure in engaging with the intelligent and critical young minds, whom he described as the hope of the ummah.

“It was a pleasure speaking with these young people, who are intelligent, critical and broad-minded,” he said in a Facebook post.

He added that he hoped they would return to Malaysia with renewed spirit and clearer purpose.

The dialogue was also attended by Malaysia’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Datuk Syed Mohamad Bakri Syed Abdul Rahman and other senior consular officials from Jeddah.

Zulkifli also presented contributions to the association and its students during the gathering.

His visit to Saudi Arabia was primarily to monitor haj preparations and attend the Umrah and Ziarah Forum in Madinah.
