(吉隆坡10日訊)马来西亚气象局已针对巴威台风（Typhoon Bavi）发布预警。该台风目前集结在沙巴山打根东北约 1,896 公里处.
气象局在周四的一份声明中表示，台风目前位于台湾台北东南约 1,151 公里处.
该部门指出，根据早上 8 点的观测，台风正以每小时 20 公里的速度向西北偏西方向移动，最高风速可能达到每小时 185 公里.
不过，台风巴威预计不会对马来西亚造成任何重大威胁.
