（亞庇廿六日訊）一名摩托車騎士於今日傍晚在哥本吉交通島失控滑出道路，撞上路旁樹木，當場喪命.
事故於下午約5時41分發生，醫護人員趕抵現場後證實騎士已無生命跡象.
消拯局指出，初步相信死者所騎的雅馬哈 Y15 摩托車在行駛途中失控，猛烈撞擊導致死者被拋入路旁溝渠.
遺體已交由警方接手，以展開進一步調查.
這是同一天內第二宗致命摩托車事故.
