马来西亚沙巴选举将于11月15日迎来提名日，公正党宣布竞选10个议席，同时公布候选人名单。其中沙巴元首慕沙阿曼之子将披甲上阵；惟沙巴元老派刘静芝则榜上无名，无缘守土。
公正党主席安华星期日（11月9日）宣布，沙巴公正党在第17届沙巴州选中上阵10席，且新旧人参半。当中只有原任下南南州议员彼多加林（59岁）原区守土。
值得关注的是，慕沙阿曼儿子玛尼哈菲芝慕沙，也确认代表公正党上阵辛都敏。
反之，原任亚庇亚庇州议员刘静芝遭除名，改派斯里旅游公司首席执行长徐东尼（45岁）守土。
民意党2领袖加入公正党
另一方面，民意党两位地方领袖，即原任加拉敏汀州议员邱文正（46岁）与民意党文那纳区部主席加马威，也于9日宣布加入公正党。2人皆称已知会沙盟主席兼首长哈芝芝，并获得对方首肯，会于近日完成退党交接手续。
2人将会代表公正党原区上阵，分别为加拉敏汀区和文那纳区的州议席。

公正党上阵选区候选人还有杜立（鲁菲纳宾基南）、必打卡士（阿旺胡山尼沙拉里）、西加麦（罗曼沙拉敏）、甘甘（阿都塞宾宾）和摩罗带（鲁基宾乌比）。
安华在演讲时披露，希盟会在沙巴选举上阵23席，而他寄予厚望，希望能全盘胜出，并叮嘱沙巴子民要投选良人。
与此同时，公正党、行动党及诚信党均使用希盟标志上阵；而民统党则会使用自家党旗参选。
