A Night Out for Sushi in Ipoh #JalanJalanMakan

The other day, we decided to try sushi, and Sushi Zento near Festival Walk in Ipoh felt like the perfect choice. Since it was a weekday, it wasn’t too crowded, though we still made a reservation just to be safe. The food turned out to be excellent. They were out of sake, but we still enjoyed the meal.

The baby octopus was tender and flavourful, and the ramen broth was rich and creamy—maybe even infused with a bit of black garlic oil. The squid was fresh and cooked just right, and the sauces really complemented each dish. The eel was also well prepared, fresh, and served in generous portions.

Overall, it was a satisfying meal and a spot worth visiting if you’re in Ipoh.
