A Roadtrip to the North

Malaysia has an abundance of unique travel destinations. That's the good news. However, I often find that we pay attention and promote certain places of interests, while often overlooking some really interesting destinations. Which is a waste actually.

Recently took a little roadtrip out of the usual tourist brochures and it was a nice reminder how some of these lesser known places have so much to offer.

The roadtrip started from KL, spent a night at Sekinchan staying right amongst the paddy fields, and followed by a leisurely drive using the West Coast Highway, then through the old roads from Taiping all the way to Sik. Spent another 3 nights at Tasik Beris and galavanting up north till Wang Kelian, Kangar and Alor Setar.

A beautiful experience. Can't wait for the next one as I noticed there are still so many places left unexplored.
