Aardvark Anteater

Aardvark is a unique nocturnal mammal native to sub-Saharan Africa, where it inhabits grasslands, savannas, woodlands, and semi-arid regions. It is easily recognised by its long snout, large ears, powerful claws, and pig-like body. Aardvarks feed mainly on ants and termites, using their sticky tongues to capture thousands of insects each night. They dig extensive burrows that also provide shelter for many other animals. Although generally solitary and shy, aardvarks play an important role in maintaining ecological balance by controlling insect populations. Wildlife enthusiasts can observe them in protected national parks and nature reserves across several African countries. *Apps : Canva; Pix : Pexels. *Email : yayeh2851@gmail.com
