During Chinese New Year, I have a wonderful trip in Da Nang, Vietnam, to see the lively celebration of Chinese New Year. Vietnamese New Year has its own distinct appeal, complete with vibrant street displays that represent luck and wealth, flowering peach and apricot blooms, and exquisite red and gold decorations. Every moment seemed significant, from the serene boat trip down the river to the surreal sights at Ba Na Hills. The event was unique because of the fusion of Chinese New Year customs with Vietnamese culture.
