Drangarnir Rock, Faroe Island

Drangarnir Rocks, located off the west coast of Vágar in the Faroe Islands, are one of the archipelago’s most iconic natural landmarks. These striking sea stacks, rising dramatically from the North Atlantic, are named Stóri Drangur (“Large Pillar”) and Lítli Drangur (“Small Pillar”) and are separated by a natural arch known as “Drangarnir Arch.” Surrounded by rugged cliffs and often misty weather, the rocks create a breathtaking and almost mystical landscape, perfect for photography and nature enthusiasts.
