Driver Rescues Rival From Burning Car in China GT Race
British driver Ollie Millroy became trapped inside a burning race car after a crash during the China GT race in Shanghai. Rival driver Loek Hartog of the Netherlands stopped his own car, got out, and helped pull Millroy to safety.

Millroy's team, FIST Auto, later accused race organizers of serious failures in their emergency response. The team said Hartog had to ask for a fire extinguisher before rescue personnel intervened.

FIST Auto also disputed a live broadcast announcement that Millroy had left the car on his own. The team said it would withdraw from future China GT races. Organizers later acknowledged shortcomings in their emergency response.
