If you were tired of AI in your Google searches, we have some bad news

If you were tired of AI in your Google searches, we have some bad news.

Google’s increasingly aggressive rollout of AI overlays isn’t for everyone, but the company’s not backing down from its efforts to change the way we use its ubiquitous platform. AI Mode is rolling out to all US users this week, allowing you to ask complicated questions during your searches, and for the platform to ask you follow-up questions in return.

And presumably in part to reduce how many of us add “Reddit” to all of our buying advice searches, Google is positioning its Deep Search feature as a tool geared toward big purchases, even adding features for you to upload a picture of yourself to virtually try on clothes you’re browsing through, or have something purchased automatically once it reaches a certain price.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to updates for Search, which came as a part of its #GoogleIO developer conference: https://tcrn.ch/4mqoj8y
