Inside core disaster-hit area of Gyirong Port, China's Xizang

Xinhua correspondents are on the ground near the border gate of the Gyirong Port, where rescuers are racing to search for survivors and reopen the highway into the disaster zone. A deadly mudslide, caused by an ice-rock avalanche in Nepal, hit Gyirong Port on Aug. 26. More than 2,000 personnel are involved in the ongoing rescue operation. (recorded hours earlier)
