M’sian raises concern over 20 cats kept in cramped cages, owner says it’s to protect them from dogs - shakilanatasha_

A Malaysian woman has raised concerns over around 20 cats kept in stacked wire cages at Kundang Industrial Park, Rawang, after visiting the site with her husband.

The owner reportedly told her the cats were confined to protect them from packs of stray dogs in the area, but she was concerned by the cramped, dirty conditions and lack of visible bedding or litter. She has since lodged a report with the Department of Veterinary Services and contacted animal rescuers for help.
