Paralyzed woman uses mind to move again after implants via brain-computer interface surgery

A breakthrough in brain-computer interface, or BCI, technology is offering new hope to paralyzed patients in China. At Tongji Hospital Affiliated with Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, a woman has regained hand movement, using only her mind. China has around 4 million spinal cord injury patients. Experts say BCI is opening new paths for treatment and hope.
