Retired American teacher Ronald Sakolsky was emotional while visiting former colleagues and students at a school in China's Luoyang.
Sakolsky made the visit together with his friend Yin Yuzhen, a Chinese national model worker who has been planting trees in the desert for decades.
In 1999, Sakolsky, while teaching English at the school in Luoyang, raised 5,000 U.S. dollars to support Yin's tree-planting efforts.
