Threads of Time: The Revival of Hanfu 汉服

Hanfu, or 汉服, is a river of silk flowing through history. Before the Qing Dynasty, it was worn across eras like Han, Tang and Song Dynasyies, changing like seasons—light as spring, rich as autumn. Its wide sleeves drift like clouds, and its crossed collar meets like two rivers in harmony, each thread whispering stories of the past.

Like seeds on the wind, Hanfu shaped the Korean Hanbok and Japanese Kimono, echoing across cultures as branches of the same ancient tree.

Though it faded like a sunset, today Hanfu blooms again. Young people wear it as a bridge of silk between past and present—a phoenix rising, stitching identity back into the fabric of modern life.
