Wild tigers are making a comeback in NE China

Wild Siberian tigers are returning to the forests of northeast China. Camera traps in the Taipinggou National Nature Reserve recorded repeated sightings between Nov. 2025 and June 2026, a promising sign that stronger ecological protection is helping one of the world's rarest big cats reclaim its natural habitat.
