Malaysian actress Tiz Zaqyah is getting ratioed by fellow Internet users for allegedly failing to see the point of the whole Evian water fiasco at a government meeting.
Gol & Gincu The Series star Siti Zaqyah Abdul Razak, known professionally as Tiz Zaqyah, today publicly posted a tweet asking, “Now we are not allowed to drink Evian without getting screwed?”
She also added that netizens should “focus” on “bigger issues” and asked why those who buy Starbucks don’t just drink Nescafe, among other beverages.
Now we are not allowed to drink Evian without getting screwed? I thought the focus was about bigger issues. And this popped up in my timeline 🤣 oh dear… yang belanja Starbucks hari.. kenapa tak Nescafe 3 in 1 je … kenapa hot chocolate… kenapa tak Milo je.. ayo
Dozens pointed out that there is a stark difference between Tiz, an individual, drinking Evian water bought with her own money, and government officials consuming overpriced water with taxpayers’ funds.
Ada juga celebrity yang tak faham apa itu spending your own money VS taxpayers' money. https://t.co/dIJZxfRttn
You drink Evian? Nobody cares.
Gov meeting drink Evian, big issue.

We are bigger than this? So, this issue is big lah. How come they can afford so many things, while the rakyat are suffering. Old men yang serve rakyat, minum air sorang satu sama harga dgn ayam setengah ekor untuk 1 family. Siapa yang tak read between the lines? Lol
On Monday, the government had released a video announcing that they will officially reduce the price of chicken by 20 sen, but the luxury French bottled water ultimately became the star of the show as people became outraged at the government’s irony in attempting to lower the cost of living while openly drinking overpriced water at their meeting.
Harga telur ayam semua gred KEKAL spt harga kawalan SHMKM.@IsmailSabri60 @kpdnhep pic.twitter.com/kb5N7CXBqr
What about you guys? Do you think government officials spent their own money on Evian water or were they funded by taxpayers? Should people be allowed to drink luxury brand-name water without “getting screwed?”
