Malaysians now have a chance to travel to the United States. Travel for free? Just by video recording their basketball skills in the iBallin - Around the World Challenge and winning the online competition.
The theme of the challenge is "Play Locally - Win Globally". iBallin founder and managing director Marcus D Snowden, known as Snow, who initiated the competition, said it is dedicated to celebrating basketball talents globally.
“The iB-Around the World (ATW) Challenge is a call to action for all basketball players and fans to unite, have fun, and share their passion for the game. Simply post your videos, taking the challenge on your favourite social media account to participate. tag and follow @iBallinOfficial (on all major platforms). Participation is free for all to take part in. The iB-ATW Challenge is an individual basketball shooting challenge for all demographics, males and females; boys & girls; from every skill level, from never touching a basketball to professional players.

He explained that having grown up in a small-town Joliet, a southwest suburb of Chicago, he always wanted to travel overseas to the next level (Snow was a decent basketball player himself and Slam Dunk Champion his senior year in high school) but never had the opportunity because his parents could not afford to send him overseas. iBallin is his way of giving back to the community.
“Now that I am a businessman, I want to encourage people from all over the world to travel to different parts of the globe. A similar competition is also organised in the US and other parts of the world to encourage American (and other) winners to travel to Malaysia.”
This 1st round, 1st place prize is US$ 200+ passport reimbursement and a slot in the Grand finals, where you will compete against the next round’s finalist for an all-expense paid trip to the U.S. for a once-in-a-lifetime vacation and compete in a similar contest on the other side—part of iBallin’s Competition Tourism branch. The 2nd place prize is US$100.
