Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp remains in the hunt for Real Madrid winger Marcos Asensio.
The young Spain international has long been admired by Klopp.
And El Desmarque reports Liverpool are very interested in signing Asensio this summer.
Klopp is willing to spend big to land the Real Madrid man, believing the 23-year-old would be the perfect addition to his squad to supplement Mohamed Salah.
However, Zinedine Zidane is said to not be willing to sanction a deal to strengthen a European rival, not wanting to lose the player unless Sadio Mane moves the opposite way.
