Nathan Ake insists he has not thought about proving Chelsea wrong since he was sold to Bournemouth.
The Blues have been linked with a reunion with Ake following the defender's stellar play for the Cherries since leaving Stamford Bridge in 2017.
Quizzed further on the links to Stamford Bridge, Ake replied: "When I left Chelsea my focus was on here.
"I didn't really think about trying to prove them wrong or something like that. I just wanted to prove myself here and become a better player."
